About Kim

I've been working with dogs for over 15 years now, and they never fail to constantly amaze me. I started with domestic dog training and agility with my own and friends dogs along side my "proper" job before I decided to take the leap and work with dogs full time.

I decided to retrain in canine rehabilitation when one of my mum's dogs had a double hip replacement and needed so much rehab from so many places to get her back on her feet. So, I became a fully qualified small animal hydrotherapist in 2016 and I've never looked back!

I adore hydrotherapy, which I continue to do a few days a week, but I wanted to develop my knowledge further to help more dogs outside of the pool environment.

I became a fully qualified canine massage therapist in 2020 which has allowed me to finally launch Wicks and Wags.

I am also currently studying for my Veterinary Physiotherapy degree, as well finalising the coursework to become fully qualified in Cranio Sacral therapy and Myofascial Release.

Outside of work, I'm a musician (flute, piano and I took up the harp during lockdown), fibre artist (I am constantly covered in fluff as well as dog hair) and mum to a completely nutty golden retriever.

I look forward to meeting you and your precious furry friend and sincerely hope I can help them feel their very best self.
